Immigration Issues/H1 B Reset

Question
Hello Sir,

I am came to US in H1B visa first time on 28 Feb 2010 and left on 7 Oct 2011. Then I renewed the same H1 Petition (under not subject to cap, applied on 8 Sept 2013 and got it approved on 6 May 2014) and came back to US on 6 June 2014 (after 20 months). I would like to know how much time I am left on my H1

1. Has it been reset since I was in India for more than a year since I travelled to US Or.
2. It has not been reset because I applied to renew it within a year.

Regardless, let me know how much time I am left with. Please note that the maxout calculator does not consider H1B reset.

Let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks
Regards
Viswa

Answer
Dear Viswa:
H1B is for 6 years; the period in US [and any period outside US if under employ] is considered toward H1B.  As per your info it is not clear as to under what status were you outside the US from 10/07/2011 through 09/08/2013.  Without proper and clear information any advise would not be meaningful.

Thank you,
Best wishes,
