Question
I HAD A DUI 2 YEARS AGO . MY DRIVER LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED FOR 6 MONTHS. I COMPLY WITH ALL THE COURT MATTERS. THIS HAPPENED FOR A FIRST TIME. I AM A USA RESIDENT FOR ABOUT 17 YEARS.  I AM TRYING TO GET MY CITIZENSHIP. iS THIS A BIG PROBLEM?

Answer
Ana,
In my opinion, this should not impact your citizenship case.  In some cases the examiner may not approve immediately and will require more information regarding the incident.  It may delay but will probably not adversely impact your case.  If you need any more information, you may contact me directly-- mark@ashleykrishnan.com
