Question
Ajay,

We, me and my wife are in the process of becoming US citizens.  We are due for our citizenship interviews in 3 weeks.

My son is 16.  What do we have to do that he also gets US citizenship.

Answer
Hi,

Your son automatically becomes a U.S. citizen since he is under 18 years of age. He should be able to apply for a U.S. passport when you become a U.S. citzen.

If he still wants a citizenship certificate for any reason, this is the form to fill out: http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/n-600.htm
