Immigration Issues/Green card, is it easier to get for a single person or a couple?

I am currently on a working visa status in the US.
In a year or so, I plan to apply for my green card
through work.
I am planning on marrying a non-American. So, my
question is:
Will it be better for get married before or after
I apply for green card? Is it easier for a single
person to get the approval than for a couple? Or
it doesn't matter?

Thank you very much.

It only matters for your future wife. If you get married before, she will get it with you. If not, she will have to wait about 5 years, as you will have to apply for her as the spouse of a resident and not as a derivative of your green card case.
