I AM A USA BORN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND I AM BEING ASKED WHAT MY NATURALIZATION NUMBER IS HOW DO I ANSWER, IS THAT THE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THERE ASKING FOR, CAN YOU EXPLAIN. THE QUESTION IS ON A AFFIDAVIT OF MARITAL STATUS FORM.

Hi Eric,

You can answer "not applicable" and add a note that you were born in the U.S. The naturalization number is noted on the naturalization certificate (which is applicable only if you are a naturalized citizen).
