Question
I cam to US in IR1, receive 10 year green card not long ago.  now my husband is talking about divorce.  If our  marriage ends up divorce, will I be evict out of the country.  Can this damage my green card residence status?  Is there anything he can do to harm my residence here?  Thanks

Answer
Since you got 10 year and not 2 year card, your green card is safe. The only difference is you will have to wait 5 years from date of approval for green card to apply for citizenship if divorced whereas you can do it after 3 years if you stay married until you get citizenship.
