Immigration Issues/spouse 1-30 petition

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I have filed for my spouse's petition over two years ago and still have not received a decision. I have called and checked on the USCIS website and they all say that it will be within a few months from now. On the USCIS website it is very slow and still four months behind from the current date. Is there anyway we can process my spouses visa faster?
ANSWER: Are you a U.S. citizen or are you a green card holder?

Regards,

Robert

QUESTION: I am a green card holder myself.

Answer
The reqason why it is taking so long is because they know that even if they approved the I-130 petition, nothing be processed for the Green card untiul they reach the priority date in your category, whoch is about 4-5 years. If you are eligible, you should file for citizenship and once you get approved that will make the case go much faster.

Regards,

Robert
