Question
Thanks ahead of time for answering this question. I was very very drunk last
night and ended up having unprotected sex with a girl I met in a bar. I have
no clue if she was clean or not. We had sex for about 15 to 20 min. I
preformed oral   sex on her for about 1 min. I never ejaculated and I am
wondering if that lowers the risk of contracting something. I am planing on
getting tested anyway I'm just looking to ease my mind a little between now
and then. Thank you again for your help.

Answer
Hi

Thanks for the message. Well unprotected sex does carry a risk of catching HIV, whether or not you ejaculate. From a single episode the chance of being infected by an HIV positive person is quite low (around 1%), but of course the risk is still there.

Depending on which country you're in, and which PART of that country, can give you some indication of whether or not the girl was infected with HIV...but of course the only way to be certain is to have an HIV test at around 12 weeks following contact.

Statistically, the chance is low.

Hope this helps.

Ian
