Question I'm sorry but I have a song I would like to share, not a poem. I just want an opinion from a creative writer please so you can tell me what you think. I mean Isn't creative writing in songwriting?
I can't think of a title for this song.
INTRO: Keep holding on
I can't forget what I've become
Losing my mind about the time
I felt rejected
VERSE: Long time ago
when I was feeling all alone
Close your eyes
remember the time you were accepted
CHORUS: Wait, I overcomed the pain
That dwelled on me for days
And now I'd like to say
that you can't find away
VERSE: Wondering why I lost
myself when you were gone
You wouldn't leave
I know that we were connected
VERSE: Looking through the glass
that I once saw through in the past
Keep your lies from aside
I'm not affected
CHORUS: Wait, I've overcomed the pain
that dwelled on me for days
And now I'd like to say
that you can't find away
BRIDGE: Reach out and touch fate
You will never regret all your hate
Reach out and touch fate
You will never regret all your hate
Reach out and you'll remember your own mistakes....
CHORUS: (Singing softly)
Wait, I've overcomed the pain
that dwelled on me for days
And now I'd like to say
that you can't find away
REPEAT CHORUS
Answer Hey Ava, =]
Well of course Creative writing is found in songwriting. Believe it or not, I had started writing songs when I was little way before I got into short stories and poems.
This song seems very sad and I'm not too sure what the message is exactly. Its almost empowering on the speakers part but then also giving the adversary power at the same time. I'm not here to tell you if it's good or not. I believe in creative criticism only when none is found. One's creativity may come in many forms but I do wish you could perhaps fill me in on the exact message of the song, that way I can perhaps guide you in the right direction.
