About Melissa Burton (a.k.a Bee)
Expertise
I used to have many problems with low self-esteem. I was shy, could never talk loud enough, was always nervous but surprisingly I got over it and have become more outgoing, still shy in certain cases but for the most part it takes a lot for me to get shy. I would love to help anyone who wants to overcome low self-esteem or just wants to talk about it. So consider me as someone who gives advice and a friend. Anyways feel free to ask a question if you would like!

Answer
Hello

Well I've been through similar experiences so hopefully I can guide you in some way. First of all try to think about how you would feel if someone else did the exact same thing. If you did then you would realize you don't sound selfish at all. You are just trying to allow people to learn about who you are. You should also try to believe what people tell you. If you understand that how you feel is wrong and irrational then you can try to think more rationally about the   situation and not try to care so much. Either way you have to think more rationally about your actions and try to view them as an outsider would. Ask yourself why you feel certain actions are selfish and perhaps you will start to see that you are probably making it out to be something far more than it really is. I wish you the best of luck with this!
