Question Hello, I am currently researching why there is so much tension between Hindus and Muslims in India. In addition, I am also trying to see if this hostility among these two prominant religions is spreading to the West? Do you feel that the tension from India and Pakistan is spreading to the Western World? Particularly among Indian and Pakistani Born Children of immigrants from these countries? Is there any reasons for this? I would really appreciate your sincere answer. Thanks in advance.
Answer Hello Neeraj,
This is not a subject that I know much about nor do I understand it. But I'd think that whatever hostility is there, its pretty negligible among the respective countrymen/immigrants who are in the Western World (i.e., in the American subcontinent and Europe). And in my thoughts, the reason for this being negligible in these places is that the hostility is not inherent amongst the people of the two faiths but is something frequently stoked by political and religious leaders for their own gains; this incitement is not possible in the West.
Again, this is just my perception and I'm not really sure if I'm right or not.
