Question I am interested in my family tree. The first step is finding the origins of my surname, Naicker. I am South African of Indian decent.
Indians migrated to South Africa around 1800, most Indians worked as indentured labour. The problem I face is simililar to many where migrant names were mis-spelled or changed.
Could you please assist with the origin of the family name.
