Answer
Dea Mr. Nicole
The name Shekhar means mountain peak, and is name usually given to boy. Many Indian celebrity and Indian politicians have this name, most common being Chandra Shekhar (Former Prime Minister of India), Shekhar Suman (TV and Film Personality), Shekhar Kapur (Kapoor) (Film Director of Bandit qween and Qween Elizabeth fame).
Its quite a good name for your son / grandson.

Regards,
Sukhjender
