Question I have joined as a trainee in a manufacturing concern. For your information I would like to mention that my professional tax is being deducted from my stipend. My office says that I am not entitled to any leave for 1 year. How far this is true.
Answer Hi Moumita,
It is correct that until you receive your confirmation letter you are not entitled to any paid leave. If you fall in the slab of professional Tax your professional Tax is bound to get deducted from your salary. Also check the terms and conditions of your appointment letter as a trainee and see if you have been on probation as a trainee for a period of one year and if that is a position nothing wrong.
Rgds,
