Question
How do you determine if someone is really an heir? I have some that states that she is our sister and my father as passed and his estate is in probate. Can I request that she prove her legitimacy. How can she prove.

Answer
FOr her to inherit she would have to file a petition to determine heirship if she is not a true child of the deceased.  SHe would then have to prove her heritage in the court room or you could accept it and instruct the executor to allow her claim as an heir.  YOur question is rather vague and some words seem to be missing.  JDH
