Experience I've been a fan of the Indigo Girls for many years and my experience with the subject grows exponentially each day. I've been to several concerts, by Amy and Emily and by Amy alone. I'm extremely familiar with the music and lyrics as well as song backgrounds....why songs were created. I am familiar with IG boots, setlists and other information.
Question What seems to be Amy`s favorite guitar? Is there one she uses more than the others?
Answer Amy uses a black Martin guitar quite often. If you see it in pictures you'll see that she has worn the top of the guitar with her stroking and has had to put a pick guard on it. In the past several years she's used an electric guitar often and uses a beautiful mandolin on songs recorded on "Come On Now Social" and "Shaming of the Sun."
