About Elisanne MacHardy Mead Expertise Discography, Lyrics, Setlists, Bootleg information about Indigo Girls. Some general personal information. Also, information and interviews given, and things said by Amy and Emily.
Experience I've been a fan of the Indigo Girls for many years and my experience with the subject grows exponentially each day. I've been to several concerts, by Amy and Emily and by Amy alone. I'm extremely familiar with the music and lyrics as well as song backgrounds....why songs were created. I am familiar with IG boots, setlists and other information.
Question Hi,
What bootlegs or half-official concert CDs of the Indigo Girls are the "must-haves" for a fan? Which ones sound the best?
Thanks in advance!
Answer Wow, excellent question. To answer it, I've turned to Brian Clary's "must-have" site: http://ig.rocks.it Check it out! First off, I would definitely start with the whole "Killer B-sides" series. You will get a great bunch of stuff there...changed lyrics, covers...early stuff...stuff that was on special CD's. You'll even get a wickedly delicious "Blister in the Sun" with a giggling Emily and Danielle Howle and the Tantrums. Beyond that, try HTE Chicago 10/17/00. OR the one on his site called "Live from Souix Falls." I would also pick up "Montreal '94" As everything is subjective anyway, what I would do is head to Brian's site. He's really great about answering questions and he won't steer you wrong. Thanks for the question and let me know if I can help again.
