Dear Chad, Thankyou so much for your previous advice I have taken note and it will be so usefull for us in our travels! bless you! can you please share any more advice you have about renting a house in bali? what would be the Offering prices for a month and what we can expect in comforts, furnishings etc? we will be arriving in Bali on april 1st 2001. Gratefull for your kind help,best wishes to you and all your family! Peter

You should easily find a cheap and furnished house in UBUD.  As it is cheaper then Kuta you should be able to get one for about 2 million Rupiah (Check for current rates) 1US dollar is usually around 8000 rp. When you arrive in UBUD just stay anywhere for a few weeks until you find a place you like, it is very easy.  Many of the coffee shops have bulletin boards with places, ask around with some of the ex-pats living there and you find a place quick.
