Does the abrasive wheels have a date of expiry marked on them?

I do not think so. Many companies buy abrasive wheels in bulk. (No labels) Their are many standards that deal with machine guarding and many are based on the age of the equipment. (Including the wheels)
Some of the standards include the inspection of the wheels. Over the years I have responded to many accidents involving the abrasive wheels
coming apart but most were minor in nature. I wish I had more information for you.Follow this web address. (Cut and paste)
