Question
QUESTION: I work in a store and at the end of the store there is a safe where money is protected, but if you want to get to this safe you must pass trough an electricity distribution room,  where the electric panels (7)  are less than 1 meter from the aisle. Is it right even the fact that is it just 220 volt?

ANSWER: The quick answer is yes. PROVIDING: the front panels are in place so that when you walk past you do not have the possibility to come into contact with the electrical connections. If they do not have the front protection panel in place, and you could touch any of the leads, they would be in violation.
Does that help? I hope so.
Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

QUESTION: Dear friend:
Thanks from Venezuela. I have noticed that in the department stores I work in there are many plugs conected to a the same multisocket (regleta in spanish) a fan, cash register, a lamp as well, but the multisocket is not hot at all. Is it normal?
Another question: is it good for keeping cool an elctric distribution panel into a room  to fix in front of it just a fan?
Thanks for your answer

Answer
Hello again,
As you work with electricity and plugs connected to a multi a socket system, it may be that even several plugs to not get hot under normal conditions.  However, in the event that any appliance or plug requires more electricity it will get hot.  The best way to make sure that you have not overloaded a multi electrical socket is to test the system and find out exactly how much electricity you are drawing, Volts, amps, etc.  Find out what the multi socket plug is rated for and make sure you're not drawing too much electricity.  As far as fans go too cool and electrical room, that is fairly normal.  Once again, if any of the circuits are overloaded they will heat up.  If any of the wires start getting hot, (under load), the system is probably overloaded.
I hope this information helped.
Mike
