Question
My husband and I went through a cycle of injectables and IUI without success.
Since we've been trying for almost 2 years and I'm 39, we've decided to not
beat around the bush and go for IVF. I am anxiously awaiting the first day of
my cycle so that I can begin the birth control. I am currently on day 40 with
no symptoms of a period in sight! I'm assuming it's just my body dealing with
all the hormones from my last cycle. Is this common?

Answer
It can happen as a result of prior injectables, though it can be due to other things such as (and not limited to) cysts, pregnancy, menopause, etc.  Tell your RE you haven't bled yet and get to the bottom of it.

Good luck on your upcoming IVF cycle!!!
