Question Good Morning doc, i need you help in the following scenario that we are facing myself and my wife. A month ago my wife went to give birth at a government hospital it was about 22pm when she was admitted she was on pains for about two hours and i asked for a doctor to come and examine her but the nurses said to me there's no doctor avaible all doctors are busy she i should wait i waited for another hour and my wife was in serious pain as she asked for C-section of which i asked the nurses again loosing my temper, and i was thrown out of the labour ward. well the doctor came and he examined her and he saw that thhe water broke yet he ignored that and went for his rounds again. the poor child was stressing and she relived herself inside her mother's womb and she swallowed her wastes. After 7 long hours she the c section was performed but it was too late as the child already struggled to breath as there was a lot of wastes in her lungs she only lived for 1:30min. The same doctor that perfomed the operation didn't even check if the child will make it or what he cutted my wife's fallopian choopes, and now we'd like to have another child i just want to know if it is possible that those choopes could be joined again so that we can have another baby. that was our first child, please help me.

I'm so very sorry to hear your disastrous news. Why did the doctor cut your wife's fallopian tubes?
When the tubes have been cut, the options for subsequent pregnancy include the possibilities of:
a) Microsurgical tubal anastomosis - having the tubes surgically "put back together", vs.
b) In-vitro fertilization (IVF) - embryos are created in the lab, "bypassing the cut tubes", and then the embryos are placed in the uterus (womb) with the hopes that one will stick.
Years ago, the success rate with putting tubes back together was higher than the IVF success rate. Today, many centers have such high success rates with IVF that they have abandoned doing tubal anastomosis/reversal surgery.
