Infertility/Fertility/irregular periods

a few months back my periods had bcm very irregular so my dr put me on duoluton-L tabs for 2 months...for those 2 months n about 3 after dat my periods wer regular n i had less cramps n a regular fow n less clots...howevr now the pain has begun again..n so have d clots..also my periods have become a bit in dey get delayed by 3-5 it ok if i take duoluton-L again for 2 months?or what else shoud i do?pls help

Hello Tania from India,

Duoluton is a birth control pill and basically takes over ovarian function.  Because it creates an artificial cycle you have regular periods.  It does not correct whatever the problem was that caused the cycles to be irregular.  Certainly you can return to taking the medication and this will give you regular periods again.
