Infertility/Fertility/Ovulation not happening

Hi Doctor,

I am 31 year old and I am trying for a baby, I am having PCOS, and my  cycle is of 40 days. My doctor advised me to have Follicle study, on 15th day 1 of the follicle was of 29 mm, my doctor gave me 5000 HCG, next day my follicle size grew up to 33 mm.
I want to know even if its gets ruptured, will it be a healthy egg to be a baby??

Should we wait for next cycle?

Hi Shalabh from India,

Your doctor missed timing your cycle and missed the appropriate time for ovulation.  29 mms is too big and even if ovulation occurs, the egg would be over mature.

Good Luck,
