Infertility/Fertility/could i be pregnant

Hi,i am in Tennessee, i have had my tubes tied almost 7 years ago. I went 2 years with no sex and then had a period on Dec 27 had sex on Jan, 7,9, and 11 and light spotting on the17th been nauseated the past week, have tender nipples white lotion like discharge what do you think after having tubes tired and is there any factors that may make the chances even greater such as weight loss out gain

Hello Tifany from the U.S. (Georgia),

There is a failure rate with tubal ligations, meaning pregnancies have occurred despite a tubal ligation.  Some of these are because the initial tubal ligation was not done correctly but other occur because the tubes reconnect.  So, that being said, if you have symptoms that seem like you are pregnant, then you have to consider that you could be.  It is easy to rule out that hypothesis.  Take a pregnancy test.  If it is negative then you are probably not pregnant and the symptoms are from something else.

Good Luck,
