Infertility/Fertility/Late Period...

Hi my name is  Brittany I'm 19 and I'm 23 days late on my cycle. My last period was Dec 12-18 of 2012. Recently i have been nauseous and having lower back pains. there are times i think I'm going to start i go check and nothing is there. I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests and they were all negative. I don't know if I'm really pregnant or if my body is playing with me.

Hello Brittany from the U.S.,

Pregnancy is not the only reason that women miss their periods.  There can be an hormonal disorder or a persistent ovarian cyst.  In any case, I would recommend that you see a gynecologist and have a blood pregnancy test done.  If that is negative, then you can be sure that you are not pregnant.  You should then undergo an evaluation to determine why you don't have a period.

Good Luck,
