Question
hello
sir your answers have been very helpful for me...but im still a lil confused
let suppose if u were in my place and u have to choose between these clinics
CLINIC1,  success rate upto 60% is claimed
         highly crowded FACTORY type clinic

CLINIC2,success rate 4 my age ie 24 to b 41%...buh he said we have very less patients of ur age..
doctor does everything by himself...pays attention to every
single patient...ie even scan is done by him...
WHERE WOULD U GO...keeping in mind that u already had 2 failed cycles.....and if this one also fail then u have to wait 4 TWO more years to go for another cycle

Answer
Hello Again Hina,

As previously mentioned, I run a smaller clinic, that we consider to be a "boutique" clinic.  A "boutique" clinic is like a high class, high priced store (Saks Fifth Avenue) vs the factory stores like Costco.  I too see every patient and do everything, including the scans, myself.  I personally would never go to a "factory" clinic for IVF.

However, your dilemma is that your two choices are not the best choices.  At your age, we have a 73% pregnancy rate, so the 60% of the factory clinic and the 41% of the smaller clinic are not good choices.  Considering that you have failed two previous cycles, I think you need to seriously think about finding a better option.  From a pure statistical chance point of view, certainly the larger clinic makes more sense, but I can say for 100% surety that there are better clinics out there where you can a better chance of pregnancy in a more personalized environment.  I don't think that either choice is a good one.

Good Luck,
