Question
I got a positive this past saturday for ovulation, I'm on clomid 50mg and I started getting cramps on friday and during intercourse friday and saturday it hurt. And I still had cramps on sunday and today but not as bad as saturday. I read that clomid can give you cramps when you ovualte is that right?

Answer
Clomid can cause cramps, yes.  If you think your cramps are very strong, however, something else may be going on (like ovarian hyperstimulation).  Call your Reproductive Endocrinologist (fertility specialist) and let him/her know about the pain.

Good luck!
