Question
Hi. I experienced missed abortion 3 months ago at 7 weeks. (with Clomid 100mg) May cycle was 31 days and no clomid. June cycle just ended yeserday with CD29. I took 100mg Clomid in last cycle (June). Both May and Jume, my digitl fertility monitor shows peak at CD16(June was CD15 and CD16 both).  We tried on the peak day but no success.  Does this mean Clomid no longer works/helps for me to get pregnant?  I'm on CD2 now and OBGYN app is next wed(CD6), so I will miss the CD5-9 date for Clomid....  I just changed to this new OBGYN and he will not prescribe Clomid until he sees me.  Would I mess up my hormones or cycle, and also would it decrease our chance to get pregnant?
Any info would be grately appreciated...

Thank you very much,
Sophie

Answer
Hi,
Clomid doesn't guarantee someone will get pregnant on the first month she takes it -- It can take a few months until a potential pregnancy occurs.  Even though you may have conceived the first month you took it before, that doesn't necessarily mean that will happen again on the first month.

I hope this makes sense,
