Infertility/Fertility/Diane 35

Question
Hello,

I've recently start bc pills called Diane 35. My doctor mentioned that once I start them I have to wait 3 months before i decide if I want to discontinue use.
The packet inside the pills also say to wait 3 months for symptoms to subside and to not stop taking them.
I've been taking them for a little over a week and few VERY sick. I can hardly eat/work/do anything because I'm always nauseous. I would like to discontinue use but I will wait until I'm done this cycle before I do (I just wont start them again).
Is that OK? Is there any harm in doing that?

Answer
I've frankly never heard of a situation whereby someone who started birth control pills (such as Diane) HAD to take them for 3 months.  What they're probably trying to say is if you could put up with the symptoms for 3 months the symptoms may improve.  But, if you can't "put up with it", then I don't see why someone can't stop them.  Check this with your doctor.

Good luck,
