Question
Hi.I am on my 1st round of Chlomid. My OB/GYN said I had low progest. (tested 8) on day 23.  Said I didn't ovulate, but OPK said I did and I felt OV pain.  Can I ovulate will low progest.? Also, I am on day 15 and no LH surge.  Do I keep chckng?

Answer
Hi,
A progesterone level of 8 ng/ml indicates ovulation did indeed occur.  If your doctor thought you didn't ovulate with a level of 8.0 ng/ml, then you should consider seeking the care of a qualified infertility specialist.

An LH surge on Clomid can occur as late as day 19 or so.

Good luck,
