About Philip Lafeber
Expertise
I have been specialising in knowledge analysis and modelling. I have an interest in the way models of programs, architectures, business processes and the like are properly made and analysed. What`s meant by `properly` depends on the goal you`re trying to achieve. The analysis of this goal and the way it can best be realised is something you might want to ask me about.

Information Technology - trust in an internet based transaction

Expert: Philip Lafeber - 7/11/2005

Question
Hello Mr lafeber,

I am doing a research regarding internet security, specifically in the field of diffrence of trust relationship in humans and that of internet based trasactions.

I can't find related sources and would be very
greatful if you could help me with this question.

yours sincerely,
sam
p.s. I also had difficulty in finding the related catagory in this site.

Answer
Hi Sam,
Indeed there may not be such a category on this site. The list is continuously evolving. And if you find there is need for such a category, do propose it and become an expert there. :)

The topic is one that for me would fall under Social Information Sciences. I translated this from Dutch, so it may not be the right term. There are loads of research on this topic, simply because of the profitability. However, I have no direct links to this research. IDC and Gartner might have some, but they will of course ask money for it. My best bet is to contact an organization like PayPal and ask if they are willing to share some information with you because you might have some free research results for them instead.

Sorry for not being able to help you further.

Regards,
Philip.
