Question
We are using ingres 1.2 version on sco-unix platform no swap machine. Our current string will be expiring by nov'06. Since Ingres Corpon is not giving technical support for this version, How we will get the string & technical support?

First receive my apologies for the time I take to answer your question. I was on holliday for 2 month, without Internet access.

To reply to your question, I don't know. Have you try to open a call to the Ingres Corp support ? Even if the corp do not give technical support I think they must give you the string to use the product ...

Even here in France Ingres Corp do not reply to all messages. Since CA left the product to the Ingres Corp all things are differents. Even CA employee could not reach Ingres Corp.

Why not try to migrate to a newer version ?
