Subject: node creation

Question
Can you tell me the steps in order to create a node in windows. What option I need to choose?

Answer
Hello,

To create a node in Windows you can either user netutil (from Dos command line) or the Ingres Network Utility (from Ingres menu, Ingres Visual Manager, and so on).

The step you need are on the Ingres documentation. This documentation is also on line since few weeks. Here is the link : http://docs.ingres.com/gs/AddaVirtualNode

The same informations, but for netutil this time : http://docs.ingres.com/connectivity/NetutilNetManagementUtility#o806

Hope this help,
Jean-Pierre
