ANSWER: Hi Chandra,
You can call the adverse insurance company direct to discuss a rental vehicle or have your attorney make the call.

QUESTION: thanks, i called the other person's insurance company and was told as soon as they spoke to their insured they would get me a rental, then i get a call about an hour later saying that the woman told them i got cited too, which is not true what so ever. and i told the adjuster i did not receive any type of ticket she said ok,is their anything else i should do, this woman is flat out lying

Answer
Hi Chandra,
This issue will be resolved once the adverse insurance company gets a copy of the policy report.  In the meantime, check with your own company.  You may have rental reimbursement under your own policy.

The adverse insurance company is not going to make any commitment to a rental car until they have a report from their insured and a copy of the police report.

Sincerely,
Bennie
