Hello! I am Mexican and I would like to work in Greece in the field of electronics. I have a PhD and a Masters in Electronics both from the UK. Do you know anything about the process of getting a work permit in Greece?I m planning to get married to a greek guy does this mean I ll get the residancy automatically? I would appreciate any help..Thanks a lot

Dear Maria, hello thanks fo ryour quesiton and congratulations to your upcoming marriage!
Regarding work, as a non-EU citizen, you will not be allowed to work. Even once you are married, it may still take up to a year or beyond to receive a work permit. Your husband to be should know the procedure regarding spousal rights. As a job search advisor, I foucs on international jobs with organisations in devleopment or relief. I am not well infomred about the electronics field.
