Question
Have you ever heard of Friends Provident? They are out of the UK. Are they legit. I have invested quite a bit of money with them even though i am skeptical about their services and them being in a different country.Do they have a pretty good reputation?

Answer
Friends Provident are a FTSE 100 listed company (this means that they are one of the 100 biggest companies in the United Kingdom) and are quoted on the FTSE 100 Index. You can read about their products and services at http://www.friendsprovident.co.uk/. At the close of trade on March 27th 2008, the shares were valued at 121.70p, this represents a drop of 7%pa since their floation in 2001.

Please be aware that I am not a qualifed stockbroker, only invest as much money as you can afford to lose, always talk to you stockbroker or independent advisor and research the company before committing any money.
