International Stocks - Trust Deeds

Expert: Joseph de Beauchamp - 4/6/2007

Question
I have a friend in California who has been getting an 8-10% return for many years investing in a Trust Deed pool.  All of the companies he uses for this are for California-only investors.  Are there any reputable companies that handle this type of investment in Florida?

Answer
None that I know, but check with a local real estate office, a large one. They should be able to direct you in Florida. You might wish to go to the public library, and look over the Morningstar book. This is made up of mutual funds that trade and liquid, and many of these would/have returned more over the time horizion you mention. I would strongerly suggest that you look here in the Morningstar book. Trust Deeds are not risk free, and do not trade on the open market.
