I feel confident that i can guide someone with an addiction on the right path or help someone know if they are addicted or not.
Experience I spend many hours a day online and spoken to people who have been addicted to the net. When i first discovered the internet, i know i became very addicted to it so i speak from personal experience about how it effected my friends and family.

im doing an essay on internet dangers, particularly "internet predators". i know you are more into the "web addicts" kind of thing, but I was just wondering if you know "anything" that relates to this issue. If its a common problem? If you have ever dealt with such a problem...any examples?
Any information you are able to give me would be so great!

your right, this really isnt my field but after being online for over five years i can tell you that there are a lot of 'internet predators' out there and everyone should be careful.
my neice was 13 and i was with her online when i let her go into a teen chat room and a man of 31 was hitting on her. i was shocked. so they are about.
i suggest doing a google search with the subject line, ' internet predators' or something similar, im sure you will get a lot of websites to check out.
