Question
There is a photo on a Web site page that I wish to copy and paste on a different Web page (with a caption accompanying it).  How do I do this?  I have no problems handling printed material this way, but no success at all with photographs.  Help, please.  Many thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi, thanks for your question. First, please make sure you have the permission of the website owner before you copy any pictures as they may be copyrighted.

There are two ways to get a picture from one website to another. First, you can right-click on the picture and select 'Copy Image Location' (or something similar). This will give you the link to the image. If the website you want to copy it to has a field that allows you to add images, you can use the link.

For instance, if you are in a forum, you can make a post and insert an image into the post. Into the URL field that pops up, you can insert the image link.

Secondly, you can right-click on the image and save it to your computer, then you can upload it to a website from there. However, without knowing more about where you want to post the image, and how savvy you are with uploading files, it's a bit difficult to say. If you send an email to angeljs@gmail.com with the site you are trying to add the image to, I will be able to help you a little more.

Regards,
Angela
