Question
I have a Westell versalink  327W. and home networking. My son has a laptop that can pick this up and he can use to surf the net but only if he is very close. How can I increase his distance range?

Answer
You can try getting a repeater. But that router is an older b/g router. Its range is failry limited. You might be better off upgrading to a newer 802.11n router. The cost difference between a new router and a repeater may not be that great.

Hope this helps
