When i download ICQ5 Lite, it gets about halfway done, then ought of a sudden it stops and when i click on the install, it says file corrupted, which i think is because it doesn't finish.
Can anyone tell me what could be causing this and how to fix it.
Also when i click on the install of Adobe Acrobat Reader 7, it got up to about 75% done, then i got disconnected and when i click to finish installing it, it says file corrupted i guess because of the same reason the ICQ said that.

Have you done regular maintenance on your PC? Things like a defrag and disk error checking? It sounds like their could be a problem on your drive.

Answer Yes, that's what error checking does. Without knowing what version of Windows I can't tell you exactly how to do it. But since you had to ask the followup, I suspect you haven't done any of the regular maintenance chores. So that's the first thing I would do.
