Question Hi, I have been hearing a lot about blogs lately. Can you explain what blogs are and what the big deal is? Thanks very much.
Answer Blog is short for WEB Log. I'm not sure where or how they started (Try googling Blog History for more), but essentially they are online journals where people can posted their thoughts, opinions, activities etc. to share with all the world to see.
Frankly I don't see the big deal either. I can understand how someone might be interested in Dan Rather's blog or Tom Delay's or Derek Jeter's. But why would someone care what Joe Schmoe from Podunk thinks?
