Internet for Beginners - Windows Trouble

Question
I know this isn't your area, but maybe you can help. I don't know if i deleted something by accident or what it was that i deleted or how to get it back, but here is what i am having trouble with.
When i click Ctrl N, or Start/Internet Explorer, my computer closes out the previous website, so instead of adding another one, it just replaces the one i already had open, also when i click Ctrl N or Start/Internet Explorer, it just shows a small horizontal bar and for me to even open the window the correct way, i have to click maximize to get the window to show up. Can you help me or know someone who can.

Answer
On the first issue. Go to Tools>Internet Options. In the Advanced tab under browsing make sure Reuse windows for launching shortcuts is unchecked.

On the second issue don't maximize, resize the window to what you want, then close it. It should remember the last size.
