Question
Question #1 I've signed up for gmail. When one wants to learn which movies are playing in your area, you type in a zip code. You only have to do it once. On google you are always stuck with some zip code in California. You can't get it out. You type in "change" zip code and it doesn't change it. HELP !

Question #2 I've been told that AOL is a bad Internet provider in that because you use it your computer tends to get "screwed up" and you have to take it in for repair. Sometimes when I click the AOL icon on my screen that allows me to sign in to AOL it takes over 5 minutes just to get to the sign in screen. That's why I'm considering going to Gmail.
#3 Who's is the best protection from spam, worms, and all the other rubbish that can get into my computer? I think AOL version 9, the "secure version" has Mcaffe, or someone, built in. Do you know of one that's the best?

If 3 questions is too many, question 1 is the most important

Thank you,

Victor

Answer
#1 I don't use that feature of Google. Generally, I have a movie I want to see rather then looking for what's playing. So I just search for the movie, then enter my zip.

#2 AOL has gotten an unfairly bad rep. AOL is not now and never has been an ISP. It used to be a proprietary online service and is trying to morph itself into a content provider like Yahoo, Google, etc.

If you use their client software, it can be a drain on your system. But I've used AOL for years without problems.

#3 If you use AOL's service rather than just AOL.com, it is the most secure since its a close network.
