Pat,

I am trying to find an internet company that is cheap and doesn't have to be used with a credit card.  I am currently using aol pre-paid.  Do you know of a good one?  I hate putting a monthly fee on my credit card.

Hi, Tanya!  I can't recommend any, but several folks I know who also want this are using NetZero or Juno.  I don't know too much about the services and how they work.  Might I suggest using the Google search engine on keywords like:
free isps
or
prepaid internet access
or
bargain isps
On that last search I found this article you should read:

Make sure you read all the fine print and that the ISP has local tel #s for you.  If one of the services doesn't offer email, that's OK since you can sign up for a free Yahoo or Hotmail account for that.
