Question I play Black Hawk DOwn on my pc and i have dialup. How can I decrease my ping/lag in multiplayer?
Answer Hi,
This might seem obvious, but the best way to decrease your ping/lag is to move away from dialup. Modern games are pretty demanding online and other types of connections would definitely provide you with improvement. If cable internet is not available in your area, see if you can get DSL. I prefer cable, but something is better than nothing!
If you're experiencing lag with the game itself (as opposed to your connection), you could probably do with an upgrade to your processor / RAM / video card. You could also try adjusting the display/video settings within the game.
