I'm interested in launching my first blog, but having difficulty deciding which application to use.  I want one of the free, easty-to-use services such as WordPress.com.  But they say they don't allow the blog owner to sell advertising on the site.  I don't like that restriction, as I have some specific advertisers in mind.  Is there another self-hosting blog application, like Blogger, for example, which I could use that doesn't have that restriction?

Hi,

I normally suggest to clients to use their own domain names when monetizing a websie but for this particular question: yes, blogger does allow adsense to be inserted.
