Question
Hello:

I know you are not going to tell me how to do this even if you do know but maybe you can point me in the right direction. I recently was hired by an IT company working out in the field repairing PC's basic networks etc. Tomorrow morning they want me to go to a site that has about 7 or 8 users and they are running M.S. Exchange. The problem is that nobody at the site remembers the Administrator password. Do you know of any "work-arounds" or at least point me in the right direction as to how I can fix this issue?

Aside from reformatting the computer and restoring a recent backup of the data? They did have an offsite data backup setup right....?

I would not recommending installing any third party software cracks as you might(will) bring in some malware.

If they are paying you by the hour, the reformat/restore strategy is probably the most cost effective approach, assuming they have data backed up.

Otherwise, you could track down the original system administrator who installed it and ask him.
