Question
Hello Ryan,
My name is Paul and I am the supervisor of a hematology laboratory that is evaluating a new analyzer.  The problem that we have run into stems from network security.  We utilize a third party vendor, which acts like a firewall that prevents unauthorized users from accessing the network and ultimately patient files and data.  The company that we are hoping to switch to won't use the Enexity program that we use, so everything is up in the air.  Is there any way to piggyback two third-party vendors?  Any thoughts?

Answer
Hey Paul,
I'd like to provide you with an answer that's tailored specifically to your situation instead of non-specific, general information. In order to do that, I need a bit more info. Here's what I need to know: Which third party vendor currently provides your network security? What types of problems have you run into? Which company are you guys hoping to switch to? Since the new company won't use Enexity, how do they want to access your network (E.g. install their own hardware firewall, VPN, router etc. on your network or use a service similar to Enexity)?

Once you get a chance to answer some or all of the above questions, my response will follow promptly. Thanks.
